Senator Brian Schatz: Schatz Announces Nominees For U.S. Service Academies

U.S. Senator Brian Schatz (D-Hawai‘i) announced today the names of 42 students nominated to attend the following military service academies: United States Air Force Academy, the United States Military Academy, the United States Naval Academy, and the United States Merchant Marine Academy. The service academies are highly selective rigorous four-year institutions whose graduates become commissioned officers in the United States Armed Forces. 

“These nominees represent the very best of Hawai‘i,” said Senator Schatz. “I commend them for their commitment to serving our country, and I look forward to seeing what they will accomplish as the next generation of military leaders.”

Nominees were selected for their academic achievement, physical fitness, and leadership abilities, as well as for their overall commitment to the military, the community, and the country. The Nominees for the Class of 2026 are listed below and may be offered an appointment by the service academies.
