From January 21, 2022 post.

Congressman Brad Wenstrup (R-Ohio) issued the following statement after Intel announced plans to open a semiconductor plan in Ohio:"Today’s announcement means more job opportunities for Ohioans and is a testament to our highly skilled workforce.

Credit is due to our state and local leaders for bringing some of the most advanced microchip manufacturing in the world – a crucial part of our supply chain – to Ohio. The previous administration had laid the foundation for this deal through its historic tax cuts and regulatory reform in the 115th Congress, which made America a more competitive place to do business. It is imperative that we continue to strengthen domestic manufacturing while minimizing our reliance on imports from adversaries like China. Restoring our economy to its pre-pandemic strength and securing our supply chain are among my national priorities.”
