Governor Abbott endorses Representative Thimesch; Attorney General Paxton endorses her opponent, Mitch Little

Texas

AUSTIN – Governor Greg Abbott called on Texans in House District 65 to back Representative Kronda Thimesch for re-election to House District 65 at a campaign stop in The Colony.

“Representative Kronda Thimesch has been a strong partner, working with me every step of the way to pass laws that fight back against the radical leftist agenda,”  said Governor Abbott. “Kronda helped me get a law passed barring biological men from participating in women’s sports. She also worked to pass the strongest law in America to deter and stop illegal entry into the United States. I’m not here today because I want Kronda Thimesch back in the Texas House—I’m here because I need Kronda Thimesch back in the Texas House. Please join me in supporting Representative Thimesch for re-election to House District 65 so that we can continue to deliver major conservative victories for our state.”

During the campaign stop, Governor Abbott thanked Representative Thimesch for her steadfast leadership to deliver major victories that promote freedom and prosperity for all Texans, pointing to her critical role in Texas’ conservative bulwark against the left’s woke agenda.

On Twitter, Attorney General Ken Paxton said, "I'm proud to support [Mitch Little] for Texas House. He is a true conservative who will stand up to the Austin Swamp. His opponent, [Kronda Thimesch] is ranked among the most liberal Republicans in the Texas House. She needs to be defeated."
