HOUSTON TX – Texas Lieutenant Governor and conservative Republican candidate for re-election, Dan Patrick’s campaign released the following statement:
“Dan Patrick remains both incredibly popular with grassroots Republican voters and the most successful fundraiser to ever hold the position. The list of conservative legislative accomplishments is unrivaled, and his fundraising achievements are unsurpassed,” said Allen Blakemore, Patrick’s senior political advisor. “The strong support is a testament to the Lt. Governor’s principled approach to governance and his tireless efforts on behalf of Texas taxpayers.”
The Patrick campaign raised nearly $3 million during the 6-month period ending December 31 and maintains $24 million cash-on-hand.
“The last 6 months of 2023 was marked by three special legislative sessions and the first impeachment trial of a statewide elected official in a century. Even so, our fundraising numbers are the largest ever posted for the July to December period,” Blakemore concluded.
“It is my extreme privilege to serve Texas in office. It is a responsibility I do not take lightly. I look forward to seeking reelection in 2026,” Patrick added.
