Award-winning contractor and job-creator pledges to defeat scandal-plagued Susie Lee and help flip the House
(Las Vegas, NV) – Today, John Kovacs officially filed for Nevada’s Third Congressional District, pledging to defeat scandal-plagued Democrat incumbent Susie Lee in November and help flip the House of Representatives from Democrat to Republican control.
“After nearly a year of setting up my campaign and introducing myself to voters in the critical Third Congressional District, I’m proud to have made my run official by formally filing for office today,” stated Kovacs. “With fewer than 100 days to go in this primary, I will continue taking my message directly to Republican voters to earn their support and become the nominee. I will then work to unite our party after the primary and push to win over nonpartisans and even Democrats who reject the corruption and chaos in Washington to win this seat in November.”
Kovacs launched his campaign last summer and has since attended dozens of community events, made tens of thousands of direct voter contacts, and put forward the most detailed plans of any non-incumbent candidate in this race. He has focused most extensively on promoting American exceptionalism by ensuring Election Integrity, restoring fiscal sanity, protecting our Constitutional rights, securing our border, and working to fund our police and restore law and order.
Kovacs is a first-generation American who grew up in New Jersey, graduated from The Citadel, The Military College of South Carolina, became a civil engineer and business owner, and, along with his family, moved to Nevada in 2015. He continues operating a successful business, and his companies have earned millions of dollars in revenue while providing hundreds of jobs.
