Joey Gilbert Cements Front-Runner Status: Wins Crushing GOP Convention Endorsement Victory Over Joe Lombardo and All Other Gubernatorial Candidates

RENO, Nev. – Front-running GOP Governor Candidate Joey Gilbert issued a statement today about his landslide endorsement election victory at the Nevada GOP Convention on April 30 in Las Vegas.
"My strong, statewide support among GOP delegates was clearly proven April 30. I was the only candidate voted by delegates to qualify for an endorsement ballot and won a landslide victory in the endorsement election: receiving 66.7% (210) total votes for yes, and 33.3% (105) for no. This is over double the next closest candidate, Joe Lombardo, who received 31.5% (104) total votes for yes, and 68.5% (226) for No. I'm grateful for the state-wide support of Nevada's GOP delegates—both rural and urban."
Gilbert concluded, "Saturday's overwhelming victory left no doubt that the changes and solutions I'll bring as Governor resonate overwhelmingly with Nevadans: Nevada First, election integrity, law and order, medical freedom and privacy, 2nd Amendment protection, parental rights, securing our water supply, and fixing our worst-in-the-nation schools. I will continue to work hard for all Nevadans and provide strong, courageous leadership."
