Ginger Sykes Torres was honored to receive the endorsement of California Congressman Tony Cárdenas.

Congressman Cárdenas made the following announcement:

“Today I am proud to announce that I am supporting Ginger Sykes Torres for Arizona’s 1st Congressional District. Ginger is an environmental and civic leader who understands, better than anyone, the importance of investing in renewable energy, making local economies resilient to the impacts of a changing climate, and how to strengthen our communities by supporting small businesses. Ginger will be a force in Congress and I hope to see her there next year.”

Ginger Sykes Torres stated:

“I am truly grateful for Representative Cárdenas’ support. Congressman Cárdenas sits on the House Committee on Energy and Commerce, where he is working for American families. He has advanced legislation to lower prescription drug prices, protect American consumers, combat climate change, and ensure that everyone has access to affordable health care. These are the hallmarks of my campaign and what I will prioritize in Congress. I look forward to serving with Congressman Cárdenas in the US House of Representatives.”

Congressman Cárdenas is the latest person to endorse Ginger for Congress. Ginger has been endorsed by Congressman Grijalva, State Senator Hatathlie, State Rep. Blackwater-Nygren, former Maricopa County Recorder Adrian Fontes, and the United Farm Workers.
