Protecting our freedom. We salute those men and women who lost their lives so we can live ours freely and fully. Today’s Memorial Day program at the Bountiful Veterans Park was a testament to the gratitude felt for veterans from south Davis County. Organized and paid for entirely by donations from the community, it is a special addition to our area. I loved hearing from Lt. Col. Jay Hess, USAF Ret. and former POW, and am grateful for his powerful legacy to our community, his family and church.
