Ron Wyden: Sign the petition for national vote at home

Oregon

ORGANIZATIONS IN THIS STORY

The lies and violence of the last few months have made it clear:

If we're going to carry forward as a democracy, we need to protect the integrity of every vote.

That starts with secure, reliable election processes. And the most secure we've got is vote-by-mail.

Sign the petition to call on Congress to take vote-by-mail nationwide!

Congressional Republicans have made their contempt for our democracy clear. From undermining the media to abusing the courts, they are all in to overturn the will of the people and steal elections.

It's not new. For decades, right-wing radicals have worked to stop Americans – disproportionately people of color – from voting through polling place closures, restricted voting hours, byzantine voter ID laws, and voter roll purges.

If we're truly going to move our country forward, we need to make sure every single eligible American can make their voice heard – safely.

The fix? Oregon-style vote-by-mail. It's secure, safe, and accessible. No long lines or suspect poll books. No black-box electronic voting machines. And reliable, verifiable ballots.

We saw the disgraceful result of disinformation just a few weeks ago, when a terrorist mob, drunk on lies, stormed the halls of Congress. This isn't a one-time threat to our democracy; we must take steps to secure our elections and protect every vote.

Add your name to tell Congress, "We need national vote-by-mail!"

Proud to be in this fight with you,
