Ridley Park, Pa. – During Wednesday evening’s first Pennsylvania Republican gubernatorial debate, blue-collar businessman and Republican candidate for Pennsylvania Governor Dave White (R-Delaware) made an impassioned plea to restore the opportunity to achieve the American Dream for younger workers all across Pennsylvania.

In his conclusion, White said: “My father was a pipefitter.  My mom, a homemaker.  All they wanted for me and my 13 brothers and sisters was a better life.  I’m fortunate enough that I was able to graduate high school, go to vo-tech, become a tradesman, and go out and start a business… grow it to an $80 million a year business.  I’m actually living the American Dream.  That can only happen in America.  I want to make sure that can happen in Pennsylvania as well.  I want to give our kids and all our children that opportunity.”
