Ridley Park, Pa. – Blue-collar businessman and Republican gubernatorial candidate Dave White (R-Delaware County) announced that his campaign reported more than $3.35 million raised in less than two months as a candidate, holding more than $2.5 million cash-on-hand at the end of 2021.  Included in this figure is a personal donation of $3 million from White, showing his commitment to bringing less talk and more action to Harrisburg on behalf of the people of Pennsylvania.

Dave White said, “I am humbled by the outpouring of support our campaign has received from across our great Commonwealth.  Donations large and small, hundreds of volunteers from Erie to Philadelphia and everywhere in between, and building momentum that makes it clear that our message of bringing less talk and more action on behalf of the people of Pennsylvania is resonating.  When I entered this race I committed to making sure we had the resources necessary to deliver our hopeful message to the voters, and nothing has changed.  Full speed ahead!”

The past week saw a significant shift in momentum in the race for Pennsylvania Governor.  Last Saturday, conservative leaders met at the Republican Party of Pennsylvania’s Central Caucus meeting, where they convened interviews with each of the Republican candidates for Governor.  Following the interviews, the Central Caucus voted and Dave White was declared the victor of the all-important straw poll.

Making White’s victory all the more impressive, the field of candidates included the sitting State Senate President Pro Tempore, two more sitting state Senators, a former Speaker of the Pennsylvania State House, and a former member of Congress.  To read about White’s victory in the PAGOP Central Caucus straw poll, click here.

Today’s fundraising announcement from White builds upon the momentum of his PAGOP Central Caucus straw poll victory, showing that he will be the one candidate with the necessary resources to not only win the Republican primary election in May, but take on and defeat career politician Josh Shapiro in November.
