Congressman John Moolenaar is a cosponsor of House Resolution 153, which recognizes and condemns the increase in hate crimes and violence against Asian-American and Pacific Islanders in the United States throughout the last year. The resolution was introduced last month by Congresswoman Michelle Steel (R-CA), the first Korean-American woman elected to Congress. Congressman Moolenaar cosponsored the resolution on March 3.

“In the United States we believe that all men and women are created equal and blessed with the unalienable rights to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness. Our Asian American friends and neighbors in Michigan and across the nation should know we stand with them, and that these reprehensible acts of violence will never be tolerated," said Congressman Moolenaar.
