This week, Congressman John Moolenaar voted in favor of the Free Veterans from Fees Act, which makes it free for veterans to apply to hold special events at war memorials administered by the National Park Service.

“Our veterans have sacrificed so much for us and this is just one way we can allow them to honor their fellow soldiers. Our nation's war memorials belong to our veterans, and now they will never have to pay for a permit when they would like to hold a special event at a war memorial," said Moolenaar.
