The Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) has announced a new $3.4 million grant to assist Northwood University with the cost of rebuilding six buildings on its campus.

“This funding will cover the cost of repairing damaged campus buildings, which in turn, will help Northwood students pursue the educational and extracurricular activities that are best for them,” said Congressman John Moolenaar. “In the past year and a half, I have worked with federal, state, and local leaders to ensure our region receives the support it deserves, and today’s grant from FEMA adds to more than $100 million dollars in federal support that has come to the region since last year’s flooding.”

The grant will assist with repairs to the Bennett Sports Center Building, the Devos Turf Building, the Hach Athletic Center, the Griswold Communications Center, the Hantz Football Stadium and ticket booth, and Jordan Hall.
