Congressman John Moolenaar, a member of the Congressional Future Farmers of America (FFA) Caucus, has cosponsored a resolution dedicating the week of February 19-26 as National FFA Week.

"Agriculture is crucial to the success of Michigan, and many of our farmers today got their start learning valuable lessons in FFA. I have worked with Michigan FFA for many years and I have seen firsthand how well they are teaching the next generation of young leaders who will run farms of their own and help feed our nation," said Moolenaar.

FFA was founded in 1928 and has more than 5,300 members in Michigan. The Congressional FFA Caucus is a bipartisan group dedicated to the issues up-and-coming agricultural leaders and students care about as they pursue careers in agriculture and related fields.
