This morning, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy made a virtual address to members of Congress.
"President Zelenskyy has shown incredible courage and bravery during Russia’s invasion and his remarks today were inspiring. His heroic leadership and patriotism have led the Ukrainian people through weeks of war, and they have fared far better than anyone ever expected. The Biden Administration must work quickly with our allies to ensure Ukraine has the military aid it needs to fight for its survival and defeat the invasion,” said Congressman John Moolenaar following the address.
Last week, Moolenaar voted in favor of military assistance for Ukraine and increasing sanctions on the Russian government and its oil exports.
