John Moolenaar for Congress: Votes to Suspend Trade Relations with Russia

ORGANIZATIONS IN THIS STORY

This afternoon, Congressman John Moolenaar voted to suspend normal trade relations with Russia and Belarus. Under this legislation, normal trade relations would remain suspended until both countries end their invasion of Ukraine.

"Russia's invasion is unacceptable and it continues to escalate the violence, bombing hospitals and other buildings filled with innocent people, including children. Ending normal trade relations with Putin and his corrupt regime must be done as quickly as possible and that is why I voted for this legislation today,” said Moolenaar.
