Today, Congressman John Moolenaar voted against legislation proposed by House Democrats that would affect the price of prescription drugs. The legislation passed the House this afternoon.

“Fixing prices is not a cure for our health care system. The government cannot unilaterally limit the price of medicine, food, or any other product without there being serious unintended consequences that make things worse than they were before,” said Congressman John Moolenaar. “New cures, treatments, and innovation will help all Americans live longer and healthier lives, and today’s legislation falls short of supporting those goals."
