The Biden Administration has announced its intent to establish a Disinformation Governance Board (DGB) at the Department of Homeland Security to label information it does not like as disinformation. In response, Congressman John Moolenaar has cosponsored two bills that would defund the DGB and terminate it while preventing funds from being used for any similar entities.
"The Biden Administration’s plan to create a disinformation board for security is something straight out of '1984' warning us about Big Brother. Instead of reversing and ending Biden’s disastrous border policies, the administration now wants to label speech it doesn’t like as disinformation," said Moolenaar. "The Department of Homeland Security needs to secure the southern border and stop the flow of illegal migrants into the country.”
