Today, Congressman Steve Womack (AR-3) joined Congressman Kevin Hern (OK-1), Congressman Brian Higgins (NY-26), and other members in sending a bipartisan letter to U.S. Trade Representative Ambassador Katherine Tai regarding steep increases in the price of lumber. The letter urges Ambassador Tai to resolve softwood lumber trade issues with Canada to help alleviate the rising costs of lumber.
