Today, Congresswoman Lisa McClain (R-MI) introduced the Preventing Abusive Government Efforts (PAGE) Act which would prohibit the federal government from compiling or maintaining a database of federal employees who received a religious exemption or accommodation for the COVID vaccine. It would also require the President to destroy any database he has already created.

“President Biden tried and failed to force vaccine mandates on the American people,” said Rep. McClain. “Now the government wants to try and track who does and does not have the vaccine. This is a prime example of gross government overreach and is a complete invasion of privacy. The PAGE Act will not only prevent the government from tracking those who got a religious exemption, but it’ll also ensure any existing database is destroyed.”

Reps. Scott Perry (R-PA), Christopher H. Smith (R-NJ), Lance Gooden (R-TX), Bill Huizenga (R-MI), John Rutherford (R-FL), Louie Gohmert (R-TX) and Rodney Davis (R-IL) joined McClain as original cosponsors of the legislation.
