Today, Congresswoman Lisa McClain’s (R-MI) bill, H.R. 5754, the Patient Advocate Tracker Act, passed out of the Veterans Affairs Committee.

The bipartisan Patient Advocate Tracker Act, which McClain introduced in October, would create an online portal where veterans can track the status of formal complaints they file through the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA).

“This commonsense legislation will make it easier for veterans to track their complaints when they receive subpar care from the VA,” said Rep. McClain. “I’m committed to ensuring our veterans receive the best care possible.”
