Today, President of the National Border Patrol Council (NBPC) Brandon Judd announced NBPC’s endorsement of Dave McCormick for U.S. Senate. NBPC is the official union representing the great men and women responsible for defending our nation’s border security as the exclusive representative of approximately 18,000 Border Patrol Agents and support personnel assigned to the U.S. Border Patrol. The NPBC endorsement solidifies McCormick’s position as the Pennsylvania candidate with the strongest policies and solutions to stop illegal immigration and secure our southern border.
“Strong borders can only be achieved with strong leadership and Dave McCormick embodies the kind of strength needed to uphold the rule of law, which is crucial to all United States citizens. Safety and security begins at our borders and Dave understands the importance of this principle and is committed to the men and women of the National Border Patrol Council and will always ensure they have the support and resources needed to do their jobs effectively. Dave has fought to defend our country in uniform for the United States Army and he is the clear choice to continue that fight for our safety, for Pennsylvania and for our country. On behalf of the NBPC I am proud to endorse his candidacy for the United States Senate in Pennsylvania.”
In addition to announcing his support, Brandon Judd and Dave McCormick will be traveling down to the U.S.-Mexico border in Yuma, Arizona today, Wednesday, February 9, 2022, alongside Border Patrol officials where Dave will see first-hand the challenges they are facing and learn how the federal government can better support our Border Patrol agents.
“A nation is only sovereign if it has strong, secure borders. It is imperative we are providing our dedicated Border Patrol officials with the resources they need to stop illegal crossings at our southern border and finish building the wall,” said Dave McCormick. “I am honored to have the support of Brandon Judd and the National Border Patrol Council. One year of Joe Biden has created a crisis at our border and led to even more crime in sanctuary cities like Philadelphia and fentanyl flowing into and destroying our Pennsylvania communities. Every state is a border state when Joe Biden and his administration incentivize illegal immigration with open border policies that allow the unfettered influx of illegal immigrants into the country, increase drug and human trafficking, and have led to a tragic display of human suffering and exploitation on our border. As Senator, I will fight alongside the NBPC to reinstate the Trump administration policies that produced the most secure southern border in decades.”
