The Vietnam "Pentagon Papers" whistleblower endorses scientist and fellow whistleblower Rebekah Jones for Florida's First Congressional District
Daniel Ellsberg has been an American hero and icon for more than fifty years, since he first came forward with what became known as “The Pentagon Papers.”
The classified documents he leaked in 1971 revealed how the U.S. Government lied to the people about the Vietnam War. In Ellsberg's words, "tens of thousands of Americans and millions of Vietnamese had been lied to death." Ellsberg drew parallels from his experience in dealing with lies about Vietnam to the lies told by Donald Trump and Governor Ron Desantis about COVID-19. Already, COVID-19 has killed more Americans than World War I, World War II, the Vietnam War, the Korean War, The Gulf War, and the wars in Afghanistan and Iraq COMBINED.
