Blue Oval City will be Ford’s largest, most innovative, and most efficient automobile manufacturing facility in the country, as well as the single largest investment in the State of Tennessee’s history. It will directly create 5,800 jobs and produce countless other employment opportunities in supporting industries.

“Ford Motor Company’s investment in the Megasite will bring in thousands of jobs and will reshape West Tennessee’s economy for generations to come. Residential and commercial real-estate development will increase as retail stores, restaurants, medical facilities, and other businesses move in to meet a rise in demand,” said Rep. Kustoff. “Today’s meeting was to ensure that as West Tennessee’s economy grows, our local leaders can communicate and work together to promote smart growth and responsible development in our region.
