Congressman John Moolenaar has cosponsored the Guaranteeing Healthcare Access to Personnel Who Served Act. This bipartisan legislation would improve accountability and require the VA to publish the average wait time to schedule an appointment at each VA medical center. The legislation would also authorize the VA to do more research on how telehealth can be used to improve services for veterans.

“Our veterans deserve the best care and they should never have to wait a long time to receive it. By publicizing wait times, this legislation will promote accountability and help ensure transparency so our veterans and their families know they are receiving the care they deserve in a timely manner," said Moolenaar.
