Moolenaar Praises Supreme Court Religious Freedom Decision

This morning, the U.S. Supreme Court ruled in favor of an individual's right to personal religious observance. A public school in Oregon barred its football coach from personally praying on the field after games and the Court ruled that the school violated his free speech and free exercise rights.

"Freedom of speech and freedom of religion are guaranteed to all Americans in the First Amendment, and this ruling is a victory for all who value those rights. No one should have to fear losing their job because of their faith,” said Congressman John Moolenaar.
