Congressman Steve Cohen (TN-09) today announced that the University of Tennessee Health Science Center (UTHSC) will receive a grant of $270,000 for a project entitled “From High School to Health Care: Lab and Data Science Pathways for Success” from the National Institute of General Medical Sciences.
Congressman Cohen made the following statement:
“Mastering labs and data science is critical in medical school. I am pleased to see this concentrated effort to improve these skills, which will help students become better doctors.”
