After securing the Democratic nomination for U.S. Senate, Cheri Beasley has spent the last three months traveling the state, meeting with voters where they are and talking about the issues top of mind for North Carolinians.
“Over the last few months, I’ve been talking with voters all across the state from the western tip of North Carolina to the Outer Banks. Many North Carolinians are struggling, and are ready for a leader who will stand up for them in the Senate,” said Cheri Beasley. “I am committed to putting in the work and reaching voters in every corner of the state because this campaign is for all North Carolinians. And in the Senate, I will always put North Carolinians first.”
Over the last three months, Beasley traveled across Eastern North Carolina to meet with voters in small businesses, community colleges, community centers, and more. She sat down with small business owners in the Outer Banks to discuss the economic impact of climate change.
Beasley showed her commitment to supporting businesses in North Carolina, investing in a Made-in-America economy, and creating good-paying jobs across the state. Beasley met with furniture manufacturers at the High Point Furniture Market, toured Replacements Ltd. to discuss their commitment to providing good-paying jobs, and visited Catawba Valley Community College to learn about their programs that prepare students for careers in manufacturing and other in-demand technical skills.
Before the primary election in May, Beasley met with voters at polling stops across the state. Beasley decisively won the primary election, earning more than 80 percent of the vote and winning in all 100 counties.
Beasley has made supporting veterans a major priority in this election, attending the launch of Veterans for Beasley and working with veterans to urge the Senate to pass the bipartisan Honoring Our PACT Act.
Beasley continued to talk to voters about the importance of lowering the costs of health care in North Carolina and standing up to Big Pharma to lower the costs of prescription drugs.
As part of her Unite North Carolina tour in June, Beasley visited counties across the western part of the state to discuss the importance of strengthening rural economies, the need to lower costs, and create good-paying jobs in local communities.
Cheri toured Pinegate Renewables, a solar farm in Edneyville, to discuss the importance of investing in renewable energy and growing good-paying clean energy jobs in the state.

Cheri toured Grandfather Mountain to discuss conservation and ecotourism.
And in the wake of the Supreme Court’s decision overturning Roe v. Wade, Beasley rallied with North Carolinians where she highlighted her commitment to protecting our constitutional rights – as she always has a judge and state Supreme Court justice.
