Congressman Cohen Announces Grant for Treatment Services for Pregnant and Postpartum Women

Congressman Steve Cohen (TN-09) today announced that Serenity Recovery Centers, Inc. will receive a grant of $524,993 for the Healthy LifeResidential project from the National Institute of General Medical Sciences. This project will provide treatment services for pregnant and postpartum women, including recovery support, harm reduction, and medication-assisted treatment (MAT). 

Congressman Cohen made the following statement: 

“I am pleased this funding will help Serenity Recovery Centers provide vital treatment services to pregnant and postpartum women. This is an important step for saving and improving the lives of both children and mothers.”
