Today, Congressman Sanford D. Bishop, Jr. (GA-02) issued the following statement regarding the passing of former Georgia State Representative Ed Rynders:
“Vivian and I were deeply saddened to learn of the passing of Former State Representative Ed Rynders. Ed was an outspoken public servant and advocate who worked hard to improve the lives of Southwest Georgians, particularly in our rural communities. He fought for the causes in which he believed, and you never had to guess where he stood on any issue because he told you. Our state and nation are better for his service. Our thoughts and prayers go out to his wife, Jane, and the entire Rynders family during this difficult time.”
