Congressman Sanford D. Bishop, Jr. (GA-02) released the following statement regarding the shootings at three Atlanta spas this week:
“In the past year we have seen a rise in hate against Asian Americans and Pacific Islanders. This week, that hate took the lives of eight Americans in Atlanta—six of whom were Asian women. We must condemn hatred and bigotry and continue to stand up against it. Our deepest condolences go to the families impacted by this tragedy.”
