Marco Rubio joined Senator Norm Coleman, Republican Jewish Coalition Executive Director Matt Brooks, and members of the Jewish community today for a roundtable in Aventura.
“First of all, thank you for doing this,” said Marco Rubio. “A lot of people in this community come from places where it’s routine for somebody to win and take power and immediately begin to persecute and prosecute and go after your political opponents so I have extra sensitivity to that.”
“On the broader topic of what the U.S. Israel relationship is: the most important part about it is any daylight between the U.S. and Israel, especially public daylight, is an encouragement to Israel’s adversaries to take action.”
