Huizenga Lays Wreath to Honor Fallen Michigan Police Officers at National Law Enforcement Officers Memorial in Washington

Yesterday, Congressman Huizenga honored the memory of officers from across Michigan who were killed in the line of duty by laying a wreath at the National Law Enforcement Officers Memorial in Washington, D.C. Congressman Huizenga placed the wreath where Grand Haven Officer Scott Anthony Flahive is memorialized. Officer Flahive was killed in the line of duty in 1994.

“Today, I had the solemn honor of paying respect to our fallen police and law enforcement officers from Michigan,” said Congressman Bill Huizenga. “We must never forget the challenges law enforcement officials face on a daily basis. My prayers go out to the families of those who were killed in the line of duty while serving our communities.”
