Today, Meagan Hanson, conservative candidate for GA-06, issued the following statement slamming Congresswoman Lucy McBath, who has refused to weigh in on President Biden’s foreign policy disaster in Afghanistan. While other Congressional members have offered assistance to those Americans stranded in Kabul – or at least reprimanded the Biden Administration for its failed drawback of U.S. troops – Lucy has not uttered a single word about the situation on her website, her Facebook page, or any of her three Twitter accounts.

“President Biden’s botched drawback of U.S. forces from Afghanistan – that has left thousands of innocent U.S. troops and Afghan citizens in danger – has demonstrated an undeniable weakness on the global stage to our allies and enemies alike. And yet, despite this historic humanitarian and military disaster, Congresswoman McBath has dodged questions on her party’s foreign policy nightmare for days,” said Meagan.

“The families of Georgia’s 6th Congressional District deserve a better response than Lucy’s out of office email reply – even if she is on August recess.”
