– Rep. Don Bacon (R-NE) announced that two debates have been scheduled to date for the 2022 General Election race for the 2nd District of Nebraska. The dates for the debates are October 13th and October 16th. “These debates are essential to showing the voters why I will best represent them in Congress as we look at how to fix inflation and the economy as it is out of control right now and Americans are hurting,” said Bacon. “My opponent, who introduced legislation in the Unicameral that would have raised Nebraska’s income taxes to the fifth highest in the country, will just be a rubber stamp for the reckless spending habits of Nancy Pelosi and Joe Biden.” The debates are as follows: October 13th Over the lunch hour Hosted by League of Women Voters and the Omaha Press Club Broadcast on WOWT October 16th 6:00 p.m. CT Hosted and broadcast by KETV Typically, two other debates are held, but one entity is not hosting a debate this year and the other has not reached out to the campaign. “I want to thank the hosts for sponsoring these debates and I look forward to highlighting my accomplishments and why I will fight for Nebraskans to keep more of their hard-earned money,” said Bacon.
