Veterans advocate and U.S. Senate candidate Tiffany Smiley (R-WA) issued the following statement regarding today’s Consumer Price Index (CPI) numbers released by the Bureau of Labor Statistics.
Tiffany Smiley said: “It’s unbelievable to watch Joe Biden celebrate the so-called Inflation Reduction Act at the White House on the same day the Bureau of Labor Statistics announced that inflation is once again on the way up! It’s clear that Joe Biden and Patty Murray have no plans to slow down their spending spree, even as the cost of groceries, gasoline and everything else continues to balloon. Inflation is a tax on every hard working American family trying to live within their means, and when I am in the Senate I will spend every day fighting to put our bloated bureaucracy on a budget!”
