Democrat Dr. Cindy Banyai announces that she has earned a coveted endorsement from the national political organization No Dem Left Behind. This is the second endorsement for Dr. Banyai from No Dem Left Behind having earned their endorsement in the 2020 cycle as well. According to No Dem Left Behind’s mission, “conservative districts in the country have Democratic candidates popular enough to beat a Republican opponent,” so they provide additional support.

No Dem Left Behind Executive Director, Hassan Martini, says ““When looking for candidates to support we at No Dem Left Behind seek out candidates that have a passion for public service. As a professor and civic leader Dr. Cindy Banyai exemplifies those traits. Cindy is someone that cares deeply about her constituents, she works hard and it shows. In 2020 she energized the Democrats in SWFL and in 2022 she’s going to take that energy and ride it all the way to DC.”

Dr. Banyai reacted “It is such an honor to have the support of No Dem Left Behind again this cycle. They support dynamic candidates, such as Val Demings, and really elevate the profile of candidates working to flip conservative districts. I can’t wait to see what being a No Dem Left Behind candidate in 2022 has in store!”

Dr. Cindy Banyai was the 2020 Democratic Nominee for US House of Representatives Florida 19, spanning coastal Southwest Florida from Cape Coral to Marco Island. She is a teacher and a small business owner. Dr. Banyai has been a decorated professional in the field of community development for almost 20 years, collaborating on issues such as homelessness, workforce, education, and sustainable development. She has also researched and published extensively on good governance around the world. Dr. Banyai is continuing to work for our water, our health, and our jobs. She believes we need to lift the voices of the people to be on the same level as politicians and CEOs and to create a Southwest Florida where the sun shines on everyone.
