Congresswoman Ashley Hinson (IA-01) partnered with the National Federation of Independent Business to host a virtual round table with several small business owners in IA-01 to discuss the impact of supply chain break downs and inflation in Iowa.
"We've seen the national data on supply chain breakdowns and increased prices due to inflation, and today I heard more about the enormous impact this is having on Iowa's main street economy. Small businesses, their workers, and their customers are hurting right now. Iowans have to pay more to buy local because of material costs and supplier shortages.
"Small business owners are discouraged from expanding and creating opportunity as they are staring down inflation and facing potential tax hikes. I'll continue hearing from Iowans and bringing their feedback to D.C. to help address these challenges to ensure our economy works for everyone again."
