| "Our community is still rebuilding following the derecho, and there has been a significant strain on local resources following this storm. When the City of Marion wasn't hearing back from FEMA on the status of relief funding, I urged FEMA to consider Marion's requests, and I'm proud to announce this $2.8 million grant to help with our ongoing recovery efforts. I will continue working to bring disaster relief resources home to our community as we work to rebuild fully."
