U.S. Rep. Bill Pascrell, Jr. (D-NJ-09) issued a statement in response to Tuesday’s election in New Jersey.
“These results should be an alarm clock rousing us from sleep. The American people elected us to deliver for them and show we are fighting for regular Americans and against powerful interests. They elected a Democratic government to end the pandemic and get life back to normal. Republicans do not give a damn about regular Americans, but we are in charge. If we don’t deliver then we won’t deserve to govern.”
