Today, April 7th, 2022, Rep. Mariannette Miller-Meeks (IA-02)released the following statement after voting NO on H.R. 3807, the Restaurant Revitalization Fund Replenishment Act:

“I have consistently voted to support small business owners, and workers in a fiscally responsible manner and against increasing inflation. This bill creates billions in new spending even though there is unused COVID-19 relief money that can be easily redirected to support struggling small businesses. I cosponsored the ENTRÉE Act, which would direct $60 billion in unspent funds to the Restaurant Revitalization Fund to provide immediate relief. This is a commonsense and fiscally responsible step to supporting small restaurants as they get back to work.”
