Congressman Steve Cohen (TN-09), a senior member of the Judiciary Committee, today announced a $900,000 grant to Persevere for its reentry and education programs.
Congressman Cohen made the following statement:
“The importance of a successful reentry seems particularly obvious given our community’s series of recent failures. This funding will help those leaving incarceration and help prevent recidivism.”
