Congressman Cohen Announces $1 Million Juvenile Delinquency Prevention Grant

Congressman Steve Cohen (TN-09) today announced the Shelby County Board of Education will receive a $1 million grant from the Department of Justice’s Office of Juvenile Justice Delinquency Prevention to enhance the capacity of schools to address youth violence.

 Congressman Cohen made the following statement:

 “Addressing youth violence in our schools should help to stem juvenile delinquency and ultimately improve our children’s futures. I’m pleased to have announced several Department of Justice grants today, all addressing aspects of Memphis’ crime problem.”
