Tudor Dixon for Governor: Biden-Whitmer Continue Their Reckless Tax-and-Spending Spree as Inflation Continues to Surge

Republican Gubernatorial candidate Tudor Dixon today issued the following comments after the latest release of another worse than expected inflation report showing consumer prices rose 8.2% in September:

"Gas, groceries, and home energy prices are soaring as the Biden-Whitmer inflation crisis and reckless spending spree continues to crush Michigan families. Michigan's average gas price is upwards of $0.40 higher than the national average and rising inflation alone will cost Michiganders the equivalent of a month’s pay this year.

"Whitmer has had numerous chances to provide relief to Michigan families, but she didn't. If Gretchen had her way, she would have raised the gas tax by an additional $0.45 per gallon, effectively making Michigan's fuel tax the highest in the country.

"She doesn't care about how much her policies are hurting Michigan families because it's all part of her radical Green New Deal to force us into electric cars and ban gas powered vehicles."
