Today, Rep. Raúl M. Grijalva released a statement following the latest ruling on DACA made by Judge Andrew Hanen:
“The latest court ruling is a sigh of relief, but all the more reason for the Senate to urgently pass the Dream and Promise Act with no limitations to future enrollment. The House passed legislation to protect the more than 600,000 DACA recipients that call this country home. These individuals have earned a higher education, made careers, served in our military and rooted themselves in our country. They contribute to our economy, our social fabric, and represent the best of our values. We must end this state of fear and provide a path of certainty for these young people.”
