| Congresswoman Ashley Hinson (IA-01) helped introduce the Veterans First Act of 2022 to prevent the Biden Administration from diverting resources for American veterans to illegal immigrants at the Southern Border.
Last week, Hinson asked Secretary Mayorkas if the Biden Administration intended to shift resources from the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs to the Southern Border. Mayorkas confirmed that personnel at the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs and the U.S. Department of Homeland Security have discussed diverting care from veterans to illegal immigrants.
