Congresswoman Ashley Hinson (IA-01) released the following video statement after completing her sixth round of visits to all 20 counties in Iowa's First Congressional District.
"I just wrapped up my sixth tour of all 20 counties in the district. I want to say thank you to all of the Iowans who joined me at my 20 county tour stops. From holding town hall meetings in Poweshiek, Marshall, Bremer, and Clayton Counties, to seeing made-in-Iowa products in Tama, Dubuque, and Benton Counties, touring flood mitigation projects in Linn County, and also visiting incredible organizations like Camp Courageous in Jones County today—there’s nothing more important to me than hearing directly from you, the people I represent.
"That’s why I’ll continue to tell your stories in Washington to show the real world impact of a $5 gallon of gas in a rural community and the harm inflation causes for our Main Street businesses. I will continue to propose real solutions to these challenges. It’s an honor to serve you and your families in Washington." -Congresswoman Ashley Hinson
