Congresswoman Ashley Hinson (IA-01) released the following statement in support of the Formula Act, bipartisan legislation that would suspend all tariffs on imports of safe baby formula through the end of 2022.

"It is unacceptable that parents are struggling to find baby formula on the shelves, and this legislation will help increase access and affordability for formula nationwide. While I'm glad we could work together to help restock formula in the short-term, the Biden Administration must be held accountable for their inaction and failed leadership that led to this shortage. Congress must pass the Babies Need Formula Now Act, legislation I helped introduce, to restock baby formula and prevent future shortages so that families have certainty that they can feed their babies."  - Congresswoman Ashley Hinson
