| "Life is precious and must be protected. In Congress, I will continue championing pro-life policies and working to prevent taxpayer dollars from funding abortion, expand access to maternal care, and support families. The legislation brought to the floor today would allow for elective abortion at any point in pregnancy for any reason, including on the basis of sex, race, or disability — that is extreme.
